Even though we encourage total destruction a few rules and regulations are nessesary for the safety of the viewing public.
















Overall

-To complete a season a bot is required to fight a total of 5 matches
-No prizes are awarded;records are kept for bragging rights
-Driver with the best overall precentage(%)wins, if tie the number of wins is taken into account, if still a tie a final battle is fought to determine the winner

Judges

Head Judge

Duty:Awards points and keeps time

*Points awarded or deducted for
-Flips:Equal or greater than 180 degrees,+2points
-Slam:Extremely violent contact,+2points
-Jab:Solid but non-damaging contact,+1 point
-Going out of Arena:More then 50% of bot outside arena,-1 point
-Hitting Hazard:Any contact of hazard,-1point
-Fixing Bot During Combat:Any repair of bot,-2points

*Time Keeping
-Keeps track of three minute battle limit

Battle Judge

Duty:Begins battle and restarts it
*Counts 5 second incapactation time
*Responsable for getting bots back to corners

Rules

-No projectiles or nets
-No fixing bot in combat (-2 points)
-After opposition is incapacitated you have 5 seconds to score points
-After 3 incapacitations the battle is called
-No bot over 9 pounds
-No fighting (kicking opponents bot) results in dissmissal from season

Match

-Held in arena,any size with hazard in center
-Battles last three minutes
-Judged by Head Judge and Point Judge
-Depleted battery or unwilling to fight during combat results in loss
-Ties do not effect standings
-No switching batteries or repairing bot during combat

Spinning Weapons

-All spinning weapons must pass a safety test before they may enter the arena

Safety Test Criteria:
-At all times ,except up to 3 seconds after collision, the weapon must not waver or be off center
-The motor, wires, and power source must be well protected and secured to the bot
-All spinning weapons must pass an examination by two other drivers as well as the "Metal Test"

Metal Test:
-A 3/16 inch thick piece of metal will be thrusted against the weapon several times, from different angles and added and decreased force, until both inspectors deem the weapon safe
